It’s another weekend in lockdown, but fret not! We’ve teamed up with the good people at Route 66 Newtown to bring you a playlist of tunes that’ll make life in isolation a good deal less shit.
Over the past couple of weeks, King O.P.P (Straight Arrows) has had our hips moving with a selection of soul/funk hits, while the fellas at Third Eye Stimuli Records have had our brains melting with their signature psych/garage sounds. But this week, Leroi and Akira from our favourite vintage clothing store, Route 66, have got us sorted with some dusty western classics.
From Link Wray to the Flamin’ Groovies, this playlist is perfect for a weekend spent picnicking in the spring sun or lounging on your balcony, throwing back a few.
